What is an eVidyaloka Digital School ?

An eVidyaloka Digital School is an outside-school learning opportunity and intervention. The highlight is the multi-mode approach: children learn from TV lesson broadcasts, interactive printed workbooks and worksheets, and an online app.

Become an eVidyaloka Digital School Partner (DSP) and run a Digital School for Grades 5-10 in your Block, Taluka or Mandal. Be a Rural Education Champion.

What can students do in a eVidyaloka Digital School ?

Work on workbooks developed by experts
Access rich content (including video lessons) in their regional language as a TV broadcast and on the App
Interact with classmates and teachers
Have a friend circle
Attend a wide range of co-curricular courses
Submit assignments

What is the role of a Digital School Partner (DSP) ?

* The DSP will receive a kit from eVidyaloka to help him/her reach more students.

Who can be a Digital School Partner ?

The eVidyaloka Digital School can also serve as a livelihood opportunity. A DSP can be an organisation or individual. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
  • Local resident.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Graduate.
  • Have a reach of at least two villages.
  • Women preferred.
  • NGO with a reach of one block, taluka or mandal, experience of community activity, and focus on education and related programs.
  • Any organizations engaged in community support and service like cable TV operators, etc.
